Kenmount Fire Station

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
  • Located in a busy industrial park, the City of St. John’s Kenmount Fire Station redevelopment project was completed in 2020. The project consisted of site services upgrades, development and renovations to an existing, occupied, operational fire station. Before executing any work on the fire station, we constructed a temporary housing dormitory for five staff, equipped with bedrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and washrooms to ensure the fire station could continue to operate as normal. Our renovations to the existing fire station included upgrades to building envelope and double parking apparatus bay, as well as the construction of a new dormitory, kitchen, fitness room, washroom facilities and administrative offices.
